ABOUT DUHA IBDAH
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the computer and information science department at the University of Michigan Dearborn. Where I also received my master’s degree in Computer and Information Science. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering and Security from Jordan University of Science and Technology. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, I worked as a Cisco TAC engineer for two years. The following summarises my experiences so far- Customer support including providing written and verbal troubleshooting plans and resolutions for wireless networks outages resulting in resolving over remote service requests from over 20 countries- Collaboration and research expertise in firmware security, malware analysis, SDN security, and data privacy resulted in multiple publications and paper submissions and one well-received conference presentation- Public speaking, conducting lectures, and mentoring students about C++ programming, security usability research methodology, and IoT security as demonstrated by leading two programming labs, advising students on research projects, and assisting instructors in five different coursesMy research interests include data privacy, systems and security, malware analysis, and network security.
