As a Program Manager of Design and Engineering at UNIRAC, I oversee the production of solar plan sets for large portfolios of commercial and industrial projects across the USA. I have more than ten years of experience in managing and installing solar assets, ranging from small off grid residential to large commercial of 20MW My core competencies include solar design and engineering, permitting, project coordination, customer negotiation, and team leadership. I am passionate about finding innovative and sustainable solutions for the energy sector, and I aim to contribute to the decarbonization and resilience of the energy infrastructure. Over the last year, UNIRAC Inc has been filling the C&I space with commercial permitting for large portfolios requiring MW of racking solutions for solar energy projects found throughout the USA. To fill this need, I have taken on the role of Program Manager of Design and Engineering overseeing the production of solar plan sets that can be utilized by our clients to submit for utility interconnections and AHJ approval. Responsibilities have included Helioscope/PV Syst generation, site visit analysis, finding racking solutions for all projects, creating AHJ/ Utility Solar Plan sets, Program SOP and KPI establishment, employee engineering and design skill training, recognizing customer needs and negotiating expectations, direct management of 30+ personnel based throughout the USA and India. Within the last year our team has designed over 700+ projects equaling approximately 250MW of solar capacity.
