I am a Shareholder at the law firm of Ogletree Deakins, a firm that represents employers of all sizes. I work from the firm’s Cherry Hill, NJ and Philadelphia, PA locations. I focus my law practice on employment litigation, developing employment policies, and counseling employers to avoid litigation. I appear before federal and state courts and administrative agencies in connection with a broad range of employment matters including discrimination and harassment claims based on gender, sexual orientation, race, age, national origin, and disability, as well as retaliation and whistleblower, breach of contract, trade secret and restrictive covenant matters. I have litigated cases arising from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other state and federal employment laws.I regularly counsel clients on employment discipline, layoffs and other terminations, personnel policies and procedures, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) compliance. I\'ve directed and participated in internal investigations on harassment, policy violations, and other employment issues. I often provide training to employers on these and other topics. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, I was a partner at Montgomery McCracken, where I practiced law for 20 years, serving at various times as vice chair of the firm\'s labor and employment department, a member of the firm\'s management committee, personnel partner and as employment counsel to the firm. Before that, I was a law clerk in federal court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and in New Jersey Superior Court in Camden, New Jersey.I am admitted to practice in NJ, PA, and NY.
