Over 30 years of experience as a mixed signal IC design leader with an extensive history of first silicon successes in the semiconductor industry. Team, project, and technical leader. Team motivation and loyalty is a natural skill. My more recent responsibilities include design management and team direction. I still maintain my strong technical skills. I still contribute technically in all phases of the design. Founder of two companies. SiLogix, which I cofounded, developed our version of a pipelined 8051. SiLogix was purchased by Cygnal in and then Cygnal purchased by Silicon Labs in 2003. There have been several billion devices sold by Silicon Labs using the 8051 we built at our startup, generating several billion dollars in revenue.Technical strengths include mixed signal, analog and digital design. Architecture; system level design; mixed signal modeling, simulation, verification, timing closure, ESD; physical implementation; debug; validation. Extensive experience and knowledge of numerous CAD tools and design methodologies; direction of implementation in the form of full custom layout and place-and-route, top level integration for both signal and power integrity.
