ABOUT DUA ANJUM
I am a California-based multimedia journalist with an M.S. in Journalism degree from the University of Southern California and a background in software engineering. Currently, I am an Investigative and Watchdog Reporter at the Ventura County Star, part of Gannett and the USA TODAY NETWORK. Previously, I have contributed breaking news and feature stories to the LA Times, NBC News, The Seattle Times, the Christian Science Monitor and elsewhere. I have covered arts, culture, social justice, equity, government, courts and politics. I was also a 2023 Foot in the Door Fellow with the Los Angeles Press Club.
