ABOUT DUANE M. GREEN

As Sr Director, Supplier Inclusion, Diversity & Impact, I lead the Supplier Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (SDEI) initiative for Kelly Services. My role is to help the organization leverage a diverse and inclusive supply chain to support the achievement of Kelly\'s organizational goals by outperforming our competitors in the marketplace and exceeding our customers\' and stakeholders\' expectations. I bring 30 years of experience in Field and Corporate practice in the staffing industry, and a passion for supplier diversity to each of my professional relationships—whether it is with an internal team member at Kelly, an external client, or a global workforce supplier. Throughout my career, I have seen the importance of diversity and inclusion (D&I) from every angle of the business, and strive to deliver innovative workforce solutions that help organizations achieve their business objectives, and ultimately impact families and communities. Taking a collaborative and solution-driven approach has helped me to gain a deeper understanding of the workforce challenges organizations are facing, and to develop diversity strategies that will deliver better access to talent, higher business returns, and a greater level of corporate innovation. I also work with our diverse suppliers, coaching them to evolve and optimize their diversity strategies and connecting them with opportunities for growth.Outreach and education surrounding supplier diversity is critical. I participate in a number of community events and professional organizations, such as the Council of Supplier Diversity Professionals (CSDP), Michigan Minority Supplier Diversity Development Council (MMSDC), and Great Lakes Women\'s Business Enterprise Council (GL-WBEC), to build connections and help others better understand the value that diversity can bring to any organization.
