The purpose of the Senior Manufacturing Improvement Manager - Quality role is to develop and lead projects focused on manufacturing process improvement and to ensure that our GE products are manufactured with the highest quality, at the lowest cost and with the shortest lead time. A Senior Process Improvement Manager must have a seasoned and deep understanding of lean, six sigma and process improvement concepts, approaches and methodology. • Drive lean manufacturing activities at a global or local level including methods, tools, roadmap systems, elaboration, and Digital deployment • Manage industrial improvement projects including process improvement, green field, revamp-up or extension, localization of manufacturing activities, etc. • Coach, mentor and train others in the concepts and tools around process improvement • Develop and implement lean strategies • Work on complex technological solutions • Solve issues and develop new solutions that require usage of lean methods and approaches • Present Teaming & Lean product / program strategies, lean roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leaders (EB and SEB) across GE • Communicate recommendations and solutions across direct organization and with cross-functional partner organizations
