   CVS health is a national American icon, specializing in its pharmacy and disease management services. In revenue and in size, CVS is the leading retail pharmacy provider. Every day, the CVS brand is increasing in scope and is covering more domain in the healthcare arena, including clinic services, specialty pharmacy, and infusion capabilities. Most recently, CVS has announced its acquisition of Aetna. The unified company goal is to promote better health for all, and is best represented by the steps pharmacists take beyond the counter. To the benefit of the greater America, CVS is a major employer in the United States- approximately people per state. CVS works to improve the environment through its investment into curbing cigarette smoking and by way of its extensive charity donations ($90 million in 2015-alone).As a pharmacy technician on the prestigious Princeton University campus, my experience has evolved well past pill-counting. I am at the front line of patient triage- helping decode the often mysterious language of third party providers and local providers. In adherence with laws such as HIPAA and the Methamphetamine acts, I dispense and prepare a myriad of different types of medications, ranging from slippery Tessalon pearls to OTC products.
