Lead the support of Transmission & Streaming for the 24/7 Production Sustainment engineering team.• Shared lead support of Transmission IP acquisition and contribution, to baseband and IP routing.• Collaborate with key industry partners to develop next gen equipment and features for transmission & IP.• Work closely with the design engineering team building and testing cutting edge technologies for domestic & international broadcast, carefully adhering to each region’s technical and legal requirements.Notable Accomplishments: Successfully transitioned Disney-ESPN legacy TX signal paths to state of the art, multipurpose servers that process everything from closed captions, SCTE, Nielsen watermarking, and Dolby AC3 to multicast stream outputs used by our DMVPD partners. Helped rollout replacement of legacy close captioning in PCRs and MCRs, with cloud based AI driven closed captioning.
