As a manager and lead engineer, I have gained a vast understanding of the Energy industry within the United States, from project development through construction. Specific roles and experience include- Performed various analyses of the Energy market at the macro level within the United States, including collecting publicly shared market data to examine potential opportunities of new generation facilities- Developed Design-Build and EPC proposals for medium and large scale capital projects- Managed project development of large capital projects to define project scope and estimate total installed costs during engineering, procurement, and construction as well as determined life cycle costs- Experience in detailed design and contracting of power plant mechanical systems including fuel gas supply, fuel oil, reagent addition, lubricating oils, potable and service water, service and instrument air, plant drains, fire protection, HVAC, flue gas desulfurization (FGD) processes, water treatment, and cooling water systems- I’ve performed various analyses of pump hydraulics and fan dynamics for new and existing systems, as well as supported plant decommissioning and demolition planning- Managed civil, mechanical, and electrical subcontractors for the construction of a 50 MW Solar Farm. Responsibilities included verifying conformance with terms of subcontracts, change order management, oversight of field engineers, and approval of field work authorizations- Supported mechanical installation and system implementation during initial phases of startup of bottom ash and fly ash conversion projects, and process water system projects.More importantly, I\'ve learned that a strong leader makes sure they are working diligently for the people reporting to them, not the other way around. I strive to be the best I can be for the individuals on my project team as well as the department.
