Accountable for the scientific leadership of genomics/multi-omics projects related to the Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism (CVRM) therapy area. • Leading the CVRM Omics team, a matrix organisation of 8 staff. • Providing expertise in genetically-guided drug target identification/validation and patient stratification (e.g. multi-omics data integration, recall-by-genotype and polygenic risk score). • Building collaborative and effective relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Early/Late CVRM, Precision Medicine, Data Science & AI) as well as academic and industry partners. • Advising senior stakeholders on genomics aspects of clinical programmes, and ensuring effective prioritisation and communication of genomics discoveries to impact the drug discovery pipeline. • Promoting AstraZeneca\'s Integrated Genomics Initiative at scientific conferences, and representing the company at academia-industry consortia (e.g. FinnGen Steering Committee). • Recognised with a Discovery Sciences 2022 Award (\'We Follow the Science\'), BioPharma R&D 2021 Award (Collaboration in Action) and 3x Discovery Sciences 2020 Awards (Team of the Year, Internal Collaboration of the Year, External Collaboration of the Year). • Published 21 articles, including in Nature, Nature Med. and JAMA Cardiol.
