2020 to present: Volunteering with Citizens Climate Lobby, and also a fan of the Foundation for Climate Restoration and Methane Action. 2014 to August 2020: Chairperson for a start-up nonprofit, the Male Contraceptive Initiative, with the goal of helping promote research and development of safe, highly effective and reversible male contraceptives. 19••••12: Worked at FHI 360 as Senior Scientist with broad background in public health and clinical research in developing countries. Before leaving FHI 360, completed work on two major projects:(1) led clinical trials for WHO / FDA evaluation of a novel adult circumcision device for HIV prevention for men, the Shang Ring, leading to FDA and WHO approvals, and (2) participated in developing and publishing the first US Guidelines issued by the American Urological Association on vasectomy procedures for permanent male contraception. 19••••87: Trained in public health as an EIS Officer at the Centers for Disease Control, earning a board certification in Preventive Medicine, and lived in Burkina Faso, West Africa for five years; Specialties: Clinical Trials, Male Contraception, Epidemiology, HIV Prevention, Development of New Medical Technologies
