This role is ‘the face of safety’ in the airline, Part 145 and CAMO, so the Safety Manager brings both technical expertise and leadership capabilities to all situations.As Safety Manager, tasks include-Managing the Fatigue Risk Management System-Liaison with all departments relating to SMS-Managing the corporate Emergency Response Programme-Overseeing the OFDM programme-Overseeing the LOSA programme-Management of, and participation in, safety investigations-Undertaking statistical analysis of safety (and other) data to feed into Safety Action Groups and Safety Review Boards-Managing the development and performance of the Safety Department and its staff-Managing and developing the internal Occurrence Reporting Scheme, including liaison with the appropriate NAA on MOR events-Overseeing SMS training for all company staff-Close liaison with Compliance team, especially during the merging of both Safety + Compliance departments;
