ABOUT DON SHERRAH

What problems are we solving today? Over 20 years of management, business and technology consulting experience, solving business process and technical problems for over 40 clients, across public, private and non-profit sectors. Project successes include IT strategic planning; facilitation; needs assessments; high-level business requirements; risk and change analysis; business case development; vendor and product analysis, selection and procurement; business process analysis; and, project management. A few of recent projects include- University of BC - Under UBC\'s Application Ecosystem Program, Project Manager for four application integration and/or retrofit projects (Dynamics NAV, ArcGIS, Archibus, legacy) with Workday - Orange County District Attorney’s Office - Developed the OCDA\'s information systems strategy and IT Department resource justification - Court of Appeal for Ontario - Conducted a case information management modernization options assessment and developed a modernization strategy, using Microsoft Dynamics 365, for the Court - Calgary Zoo - Developed the Information Technology strategic plan & road map, and managed/facilitated the Calgary Zoo through procurement to replace all customer facing technology over a 3-year roadmap - Emergency Management BC - Developed the Emergency Management Initiative business case, including five project level business cases for EMBC/BC Ministry of Justice Working with management and staff at all levels of private, public, non-profit, and social enterprise organizations has allowed me to look at each opportunity with a wide lens and provide clients with a broad spectrum of solution options, while focusing on the industry specific needs as the priority.
