About D. Scott Worley
I work to help individuals and families committed to their retirements in an increasingly complex and volatile investment environment live comfortably, creating meaningful legacies using long-term diversified strategies. I joined the financial services industry in 2008 and Edward Jones in 2020. I earned a BA from West Virginia University and MBA from Liberty University. Prior to my career in financial services, I served in the US Army and retired after 23 years of service, split between active duty and the reserves. I hold the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® designation from the College for Financial Planning. I take pride in knowing that I have helped countless families in the community plan for their investment and retirement goals. I live in Waxhaw, NC with my wife, two boys, and our two goldendoodles. As an avid life-long outdoorsman, I especially enjoy fly fishing. I am a volunteer with our local BSA Scouts Council where I teach the art of fly fishing to our Scouts working to instill the values of being detail oriented and good stewards of the wild to preserve the gifts of nature.
