About Deborah Sridhar
I’m Deborah, a junior majoring in Computer Engineering and minoring in English literature at Binghamton University. As a STEM major, I enjoy learning various progamming languages such as C, Python, Java, and web development tools like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I lean towards Web Development in the software industry as I like its creative and technical elements.I’ve also implemented the knowledge I’ve obtained in software and hardware projects with my peers. As an English minor, I enhance my analytical and written skills by reading a variety of texts and developing a promising creative writing portfolio. I am dedicated to exploring various mediums of writing such as creative writing,technical writing and journalism. I am passionate about storytelling through the print and digital medium, and contribute to Pipe Dream to explore my interest in journalism. I’m always on the lookout for opportunities in the English industry as I developed a great interest in the courses I took in college and look forward to make a career switch by pursuing a Master’s after graduation.
