About Vishu Gupta
I believe in the philosophy of \"explore - observe - envision - create\". There are a number of challenges for us to deal with, and I believe in trying to find feasible and innovative solutions for them. Throughout my career, I have had opportunities to be involved in projects that have helped me - Gain a better understanding of implementation of engineering concepts - Design based on application/motivation of the work- Evaluate and understand the social implications of my work. With experience of working in electric vehicles, smart city development, battery management and data analysis and with skills in embedded systems, AI & ML, Data Analytics, and Optimization, I feel I am able to approach a problem from variety of avenues. A bit on my educational background. I received my Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Idaho, Moscow Idaho USA in 2009, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho, Moscow, ID, USA, in 2012, and my PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, Rajasthan India,in 2020 while focusing on electric vehicles in realistic scenarios and charging management. My research interests are endless and include development of intelligent systems and artificial intelligence with specific applications to electric transportation and smart cities.
