With the onset of COVID-19, Dr. S. David Vaillancourt had the opportunity to lead a multi-campus, academic team in compliant response to the crisis. He was able to guide them to optimize e-class technologies, instructional methods and logistics for thousands of classes, so they “shifted their entire institution online in a matter of days” as reported by Forbes Magazine on April 8th, 2020.CompuSage was originally founded in 1995 as a technology training company in Birmingham, Over the years the founder, Dr. Vaillancourt, expanded his efforts toward the development of online instructional technologies for Academics as the Internet began to take hold within society.Dr. Dave, as he is called by his colleagues, currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Academic Officer for the International Math Bee based in Houston, TX. His primary work over the past seven years has been toward development of blended, stackable instructional systems and metrics for the improvement of postsecondary academic outcomes in distance education. His additional focus is to improve online math instruction for elementary school students.
