ABOUT TRICIA MEYER
With over 30 years of experience in education, I bring a student-centered approach to academic advising grounded in assessment, collaboration, and continuous improvement. I have led institutional efforts to strengthen advising systems, professional development, and accountability structures that support student success and persistence.I have extensive experience with accreditation and institutional assessment, leading multiple accreditation cycles with ACSI and WASC and completing comprehensive self-studies in 2003, 2009, 2015, and 2022. I also served for 15 years as chair of accreditation visiting teams, gaining broad insight into effective advising and student support practices.My work has focused on identifying and addressing student academic and developmental needs, including strengthening international student support, establishing academic accommodations and learning interventions, and prioritizing advising through low advisor-to-student ratios and strong postsecondary outcomes. Through collaboration with academic departments, student services, and senior leadership, I have advanced equity-minded advising aligned with institutional mission and student success.
