About Tracee Short
As America\'s Burn Surgeon, medical expert, burn survivor advocate, and entrepreneur, I am passionate about improving the lives of burn survivors and advancing the field of burn recovery. As the founder of Dr. Shortee\'s, I developed a line of skin care products specifically designed for those with traumatic skin conditions, and as the CEO, I have led the company to become a leading provider of effective and affordable skin care solutions. In addition to my work with Dr. Shortee\'s, I also serve as a consultant at Short Consulting Group, where I provide expert medical opinions to attorneys and companies involved in burn injury cases. As a key opinion leader to burn technology and device companies, I am committed to accelerating the pace of innovation and driving meaningful change in the industry. Finally, I am the founder of Camp Catahoula, a residential summer camp for pediatric burn survivors. Through this program, I have helped foster self-esteem, friendships, and a sense of community among young burn survivors, and have provided a safe and supportive environment for them to try new activities, develop new skills, and build lifelong connections.
