Dr. Coddington has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent & Trademark Office (PTO) and various foreign patent offices worldwide in the electrical, optical, and mechanical arts, as well as in business methods and e-commerce. In the late 1990s, Dr. Coddington worked as a patent examiner at the PTO where he examined patent applications in the art of applied cryptography.Dr. Coddington received his B.S. Engineering Physics degree from The Ohio State University in 1992. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. Physics degrees from Old Dominion University in 1994 and respectively.
