Steve has been joined by a number of former colleagues to form Abercus, a dynamic and growing consultancy specialising in the application of computational analysis in the energy industries.A selection of projects to which he has contributed include:* Investigation of gas dispersion to determine accumulation of flammable gas across an offshore drilling rig* Investigation of cargo vent dispersion across the topsides of several North Sea FPSO’s* Modelling of an offshore platform for a quantitative explosion risk assessment* Analysis of the dispersion of solid platelets within a subsea oil storage system.
