ABOUT STEPHEN MEEHAN

As a Quality Assurance Project Lead at Thermo Fisher Scientific, I’m passionate about driving quality, compliance, and innovation to enable the delivery of life-changing diagnostic solutions. Within our Protein Diagnostic business, I help maintain and enhance a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that supports regulatory excellence and continuous improvement across all GxP-impacting areas — ensuring that every process contributes to better outcomes for patients worldwide.I lead and support cross-functional quality initiatives that align with our Quality Maturity Excellence Plan, applying digital process improvement methodologies to optimise systems, standardise documentation, and streamline compliance. A key part of my work involves leveraging AI and automation to drive efficiencies, reduce manual burden, and enhance data-driven decision-making across our quality operations — transforming how we deliver excellence through smarter, faster, and more connected processes.Beyond my core QA responsibilities, I’m deeply committed to building a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture. I’m proud to serve as Co-Lead of the Charity Committee, helping to coordinate community initiatives and employee fundraising efforts; as Comms and Engagement Lead for the Women’s Empowerment Business Resource Group (WE-BRG), where I advocate for equity, visibility, and connection; and as a First Aider and Fire Marshal, supporting the health, safety, and wellbeing of colleagues.Motivated by Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer, I bring a collaborative, proactive approach to every project — combining technical expertise with people-focused leadership to deliver meaningful, measurable impact.
