About Shriram Nene
I am a board certified cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon, a healthcare innovator, health and wellness social media influencer, an edu-tech pioneer and platform agnostic creative content producer. My medical journey started as a Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon, having practised in Denver, Colorado. In 2010 I became the director of Cardiovascular Services, Skyridge Hospital Lone Tree, Colorado. In 2011, I relocated to India to start my entrepreneurial journey: Partnering with my wife, Madhuri Dixit, I co-created RnM Moving Pictures in 2011, a platform-agnostic, digital media and content creation company. Our critically acclaimed Marathi film, 15th August, released on Netflix in 2019. We have several projects in various stages of production. In 2013, I cofounded one-of-its-kind dance edu-tech startup \'Dance with Madhuri\'(DWM) to help people learn dance from the masters, anywhere, anytime. DWM is available on iOS, Android, the web, and DTH (Tata sky, Videocon, Dish, Airtel), and we\'ve also partnered with reputed schools countrywide. The company is ebidta positive and profitable since 2016 and is available in 206 countries.In India, I am actively involved with the healthcare community. In 2013, I was a seed investor and Chief Medical Officer at Goqii.com - a wellness and wearable tech start-up. Currently I\'m creating a medical platform, Pathfinder Health Sciences, to make evidence based healthcare available to anyone needing it, worldwide. The goal is to empower the patient with best-in-class healthcare, through precision, personalized health approaches using a combination of media, apps and wearable technology and a smart services marketplace.
