As the Academic Program Director, I am responsible for leading the university division of Greener by Default by working directly with universities to instill plant-forward initiatives in foodservice with the potential to effectively impact sustainability, inclusivity, and public health. In addition, I work closely with the research department, directing pilot studies, managing staff, collaborating with the GBD research board and represent GBD as a Menus of Change University Research Collaborative (MCURC) Research Partner. I am here to build lasting relationships with allies in academia to identify collaborative research opportunities and wish to make lasting public health impacts.
