About Satya Prakash Saxena
Born in Dataganj, a small town in North India. Received basic fundamentals from my father Swami Ramchandra Wanprasthi, a \"Jamindar\"(Land Lord) in the British regimes and later became a Saint. By the virtue of this upbringing in a royal, religious and very close to nature environment, I inclined towards capturing those beautiful sights on Paper and Canvas. I received formal education with a special interest in Drawing and Painting. Submitted research work on \"Kangra Chitra Shaily Ki Darshnik Prashthbhumi\" and was awarded by Doctor Of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Kanpur University (Chatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University).I also received a special prize by Royal Society Of Art, London for my outstanding work in Fine Arts. I was on many Key Positions in Artist Associations, noticeably with \"SHILPI\", contributed for the cause of promoting the Art and the Artist at National and International Levels. Have participated in numerous State, National and International level exhibitions. I had also served as a Professor in the department of Drawing & Painting at DAV College, Kanpur. I worked in almost every style of Fine Arts, whether it was Sculptures, Murals Sketches, Abstracts, Portraits, Landscapes or Subject Painting. My friends and peers have appreciated my work for innovative and experimenting approach with the various mediums and instruments. I have also interest in writing poetries, playing Sitar, Harmonium and Tabla with a formal degree of \"Sangeet Visharad\".
