I have been practicing optometry since September 1981. If I had to do it all over again, I would repeat my choice of profession. I feel I have made a major impact on the lives of the patients whom I\'ve treated. I have seen major improvements in school performance with some of the children (and even adults) I treated. Also, I have been able o relieve a lot of the symptoms (such as headaches and fatigue) for individuals who use their eyes a lot, particularly with video display terminals. And lastly, some of our diagnoses and subsequent referrals to other health care providers have had a major positive impact on the lives of my patients where the conditions were either site or life-threatening.I have been working with individuals sitting in front of monitors for well over thirty years. I have had very good success in dealing with visual symptoms such as blurred vision, headaches and visual fatigue resulting from prolonged close-up viewing of these digital devices. Specialties: I enjoy working in areas of optometry concerning functional vision. My practice concentrates on how what you do (for example viewing a computer) affects your vision. Just as important, I see how one\'s visual condition affects their performance in school, work or even sports.
