Research scientist with broad experience in basic biomedical research, genomics and bioinformatics. I have a standing interest in systems integration problems as it pertains to high throughput biological experimentation and analysis. I presently serve as the Faculty Liaison for the Center for Health Data Science and Analytics at the Houston Methodist Research Institute. Previously, I was the Associate Director at the Computational and Integrative Biomedical Research Center (CIBR) at Baylor College of Medicine and I was the technical advisor to the Cell-Based Assay and Screening Service core as well as the Next Generation Sequencing Core.
