A highly qualified Systems and Mechanical Design Engineer, adept at leading business transformation projects in the Defence & Aerospace industries.I consider myself more than an engineering project delivery manager; and someone who can add value at a strategic level. I typically work with senior stakeholders to define target operating models to uplift service delivery capability and efficiency, design and develop engineering infrastructure across people, processes and systems and subsequently create and execute project plans with robust technical governance to make business vision reality.Some of my stand-out projects include delivering a programme to procure & install 10 automated test stands (leading from specification to contract award) for the characterisation, production acceptance testing and endurance trials of HOFC fuel cells; implementation of real-time x-ray computed tomography & fast scanning optical recognition to identify ceramic fuel cell defects; and building an ATEX rated, high temperature test facility as part of the F35 Joint Strike Fighter Programme.I am currently working as Independent Contractor, completing assignments for clients such as Rolls Royce Fuel Cell Systems, AMEC Defence and Rolls Royce Nuclear. I am now seeking new contract opportunities where I can utilise my extensive Engineering, Science, & IT background along with my proven Project and Programme Management skills.
