Xcentuate is a cultural attraction management consultancy with a focus on providing strategic and operational support to visitor attractions of all types and all other visitor destinations at home and abroad. Our engagements have been diverse and included a museum management contract, provision of interim leadership, facilitating an international group discussions that led to the creation of a new \'blockbuster\' exhibition, supporting senior museum managers through the strategic planning process and successfully supporting the international expansion of a US-based business into Europe.Recent work has included:Providing fundraising support for Paddle Steamer Waverley, the world\'s last sea going paddle steamer;Development of a Full Business Case in support of realising a new \'air and space\' themed Science & Discovery Centre [this FBC was recently approved by Tay Cities (June \'23), releasing £1.6m to the project];Leading a relocation project for a highly popular Museum of Transport. This included assuming interim leadership of the organisation. Over £2.2m in funding secured to date;Supporting the development of a new whisky-focused visitor attraction;Creating an action-plan for a Botanic Garden that informs a phased development that will open up the Garden, support better engagement and drive commercial revenues;Model visitor numbers, spends and associated revenues for a major new visitor attraction based in Scotland. This work has informed space planning, adjacencies, the type of experience that will support the strongest outcomes and wider aspects related to planning including traffic surveys, etc.
