About Onye Jade
I am a Hematology Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, researcher, and digital health entrepreneur dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with complex chronic diseases, particularly sickle cell disease. My work sits at the intersection of clinical care, public health, and health outcomes research.I serve as a Research Assistant Professor and maintain a clinical practice at one of the largest comprehensive sickle cell centers in the United States. Through both my research and patient care, I focus on addressing health disparities, improving quality of life, and developing new ways to capture the patient voice in healthcare.My research portfolio includes NIH funded work exploring the relationship between pain, mental health, and the gut microbiome in sickle cell disease, as well as projects focused on patient reported outcomes and real world data. I am particularly interested in how innovative data collection methods can better inform clinical decision making and therapeutic development.I am also the Founder of Redeem Care PRO, a digital health platform designed to transform how patient reported outcomes are collected through conversational AI. Our goal is to create more accessible, real time patient insights that can improve care delivery, research, and pharmaceutical development.Beyond research and innovation, I am deeply committed to mentorship, workforce diversity, and leadership development in pharmacy. I co founded Pharmacy Initiative Leaders, an organization that prepares student pharmacists for post graduate opportunities including residencies and fellowships.At the core of my work is a simple belief. Patients deserve to have their experiences heard, measured, and translated into better care.
