ABOUT OLIVER KRAUSE
I provide solutions for high-stakes challenges in PE/VC, Family Offices, Startups & Corporates. These emerge at the intersection of Products & Services, Business, and Operating Models. Technology and People Capabilities are key enablers to make them work. Bridging ecosystems and connecting experts are essential for success. A few years ago, I started Advantum Ventures as an umbrella for my activities as an entrepreneur, investor (angel, LP, allocator), and advisor. My work leverages 25+ years of project experience at the frontier of innovation and transformation, from roles as a founder, in top management consulting, at a venture studio, at startups, corporates, and in applied research. In 2017, I initiated & co-founded Untitled INC Token Economy Experts & Ventures, where we launch ventures and selectively advise in this space. Recent examples of my work include- Building a global ecosystem of technology and service providers, as well as institutions for an Industry 4.0 Tech Center and Platform targeted to transform the industry of a top 20 economy- Advising on Web3, Token Economy, and Digital Assets for Investors, Corporates, and Startups- Launching Ventures & building companies with colleagues from Untitled INC & beyond, for instance, gr33nBASE, where we focus on access to and capital for greentech funds and ventures- Investing as an angel and as LP, e.g, at SMAPE.capital- Driving technology adoption for instance, by engaging as a co-producer in ventures like the Cryptopia documentaryHow did I get there? My professional journey started with studies in mechanical and industrial engineering with applied computer science in Stuttgart, London, Paris, and Berlin. Initially, my focus was on building & coding for deep tech projects in areas like Artificial Intelligence & software development for Engineering Design and R&D (3D Modeling software / Non Uniform Rational B-Splines, Constraint-based Reasoning on complex variable networks to optimize techno-economic solution spaces and more). Advisory in areas like Enterprise Planning & Control, SaaS, and IoT as well as Organizational Design (Business Intelligence, Process & Organizations Mapping) in Applied Research complemented these skills before I moved into Top Management Consulting for Digital Transformation at Corporates and my work with startups
