Through conducting clinical trials and biomarker driven correlative studies, my goal is to impact the care and outcome of patients with these tumors. One of my interests is studying mechanisms of resistance to EGFR therapy in head and neck cancer. I have recently worked on targeting the mTOR pathway in head and neck and esophageal cancer as well as exploring novel angiogenesis inhibitors in esophageal cancer.
