About Monique Liston
As the founder of Ubuntu Research & Evaluation, LLC, I leverage my PhD in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education, my MPA in Public Administration, and my BA in Sociology to provide consulting services to nonprofits, foundations, and educational institutions. With over seven years of experience, I specialize in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives, leadership development, and facilitation. I have worked with multiple clients across the country, such as the National Urban League, the Ford Foundation, and the Milwaukee Public Schools, to design, implement, and evaluate programs and strategies that promote social justice, cultural responsiveness, and community engagement. My mission is to use research and evaluation as tools for empowerment and transformation, and to foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and accountability among my clients and partners. I am passionate about advancing the field of DEIB and contributing to the knowledge and practice of effective and ethical evaluation.
