As a passionate theatre educator, I\'ve had the privilege of working with children across various age groups. My core area of work in my drama classroom is usually building life skills, social skills and intelkigence through theatre activities. i find Drama a powerful medium to address areas like -\' speaking in context\',\' waiting for your turn\',\' holding on to a thought \',\' dealing with a NO\' and other skills like collaboration, communication, body language, focus etc.Highlights- Directed 25+ plays, including original scripts, often inspired by classroom conversations and student interests- Successfully wrote and directed Tamil plays on themes like displacement, Bharathiyar, Navarasas etc- Developed strong relationships with my students and their families- Collaborated with teachers, providing guidance and support for arts integration.As a freelancer, I continue to work with schools, offering workshops, consulting services, and performances that promote artistic expression and educational excellence.I\'m proud to have made a lasting impact on the lives of my students and look forward to continuing my work in the performing arts.
