ABOUT MATTHEW WALKER

Dr. Walker started his professional career in business where he excelled for a Fortune 500 company in their credit and sales departments. He has an undergraduate degree in Finance with a minor in Economics and masters level education in Accounting. He’s always been entrepreneurial at heart and started buying and flipping houses at the age of 21. This set him up well for efficiently managing the real estate and buildout needed to scale a replicable business platform which was his underlying plan when he enrolled in Chiropractic School at 23 years old and moved on to eventually earn a full rugby scholarship playing at a semi-professional level while completing his Doctor of Chiropractic Education. At 28 years old he started his first private practice which he scaled to a million-dollar operation and duplicated then exited both practices in Chicago in his mid-30’s. This allowed him to add more focused time on building Options Medical Weight Loss which had started to grow quickly and organically at the same time he was exiting his 2 medically integrated chiropractic practices. From age 28 to 37, Dr. Walker also founded and built a non-profit with over doctors following him in supporting athletes interested in becoming chiropractors. His nature is to give to people he connects with and causes he believes in. The foundation of his many education certifications beyond his doctorate, ranging from personal injury, nutrition, spinal bio-physics, pediatric neurophysiology, functional medicine, etc, are all research based and an effort to drive data to use as evidence to evolve and improve the quality of life for the people he and his businesses can influence. Dr. Walker is a team player, humble in his life accomplishments, with a desire to raise up, support, collaborate and empower the talented individuals within his circle of influence. He’s also still driven to inspire, lead by example, and push his own individual boundaries. Recently, he competed as a representative of Team USA finishing 6th place in a World Championship swim/bike race and recently completed his 12th Ironman Triathlon at 41 years old earning his Ironman Legacy status. He’s looking for hungry, best in class talent to compete to become part of our team to help us change the world for the better.
