About Matthew Bryant

As a biotech executive with more than 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, I have a passion for advancing medical affairs and clinical development in support of patients with rare and unmet medical needs. I have launched more than 12 new drugs across various therapeutic areas, collaborated with cross-functional teams to establish timely, data-driven medical narratives that supported FDA and EMA regulatory approvals and commercialization of novel therapies that improved patient lives, and led the expansion of global medical affairs departments and teams.Currently, I am an advisor (volunteer) at SPARK at Stanford University, where I mentor and guide academic researchers and innovators in translating their discoveries into new treatments and diagnostics for patients. I leverage my expertise in medical affairs, clinical development, orphan drugs, stakeholder engagement, patient advocacy, evidence-based medicine, health economics and outcomes research, real-world evidence, new drug launches, and business development to help them navigate the complex and competitive biopharmaceutical landscape and achieve their goals. I am also an active contributor to the scientific community, with multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at medical conferences. I am always eager to learn new skills, share best practices, and collaborate with other professionals who share my vision and mission of improving healthcare outcomes and quality of life for patients.
