Administer the educational programming of Jumoke Academy• Provide leadership and direction in academic and curriculum program development and improvement• Serve as the evaluator of support services director, communications department, building principals, instructional coaches, and district reading interventionist• Supervise and provide guidance for Instructional Coaches to better impact student achievement• Assists with recruitment, selection, orientation and assignment of district employees in special program areas.• Defines the program and fiscal needs in the budget development process for special programs, ensuring that fiscal resources address the mission of the district and state/federal guidelines.• Utilizes knowledge of curriculum content and the curriculum development process to facilitate teacher development of appropriate learning experiences for pupils to ensure that it is continuous and responsive.• Supports the district design for articulating the district’s instructional philosophy and curriculum implementation strategies• Use information provided through assessment instruments, the district appraisal process, and evaluative feedback to improve performance.• Use the mission of the school district, program evaluation outcomes, input from teachers and others to provide effective staff development.• Communicates district curriculum, instructional practices, accomplishments, goals and new directions to parents and the community, as appropriate.• Secures consultants, specialists, and other community resources for principals and instructional staff to assist in attaining objectives.• Uses evaluative findings and disaggregated data to determine the extent to which goals and objectives are met.• Systematically monitors school improvement activities or program activities as they pertain to special programs.
