Atomic knowledge is the process of capturing the most important information and key details from within your documents, lifting them out of the page and allowing you to connect ideas individually across your projects, rather than burying knowledge within documents. Protolyst is designed to follow the way your brain naturally organises information; by association. Undo the siloing of rigid folder structures, and embrace fluidity and interconnectedness of ideas. Protolyst gives you the architecture to build knowledge first systems and workflows, with a grounding in the familiar process of creating Documents and Folders, but adding the ability to capture and distill key details and knowledge. Build and interconnected network of key details to improve efficiency and retrieval of your knowledge. Our goal is to empower researchers with the knowledge and skill sets to take innovation to market and enact change on the world by connecting them into innovation at the earliest of stages. We also run a Venture Studio to support academic founders to build and launch their spin-outs. My background is in research, I hold a PhD in acoustic micro-fabrication from the University of Bristol and a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Manchester.
