ABOUT KRISTOPHER LOVELL CMGR

Director of Lovell Leadership Limited. Responsible for ensuring the high-quality delivery of strategic services to SMEs, businesses and organisations across the Midlands and beyond. A recognised senior leader with over ten years of management experience, including at a strategic level: awarded Chartered Fellow (CMgr FCMI) by the Chartered Management Institute. I have led the development of high-level strategies, product, and educational workshops. Successfully managed bid development and project development teams.Formerly Associate Director (Enterprise) at EIO. I was responsible for developing and driving strategy to support enterprise and internationalisation, supporting activity related to Leadership-focused CPDs in support of the College of Business and Law. A key part of my role includes leveraging an internal and external network whilst providing high-level strategic leadership. Previously, Assistant Professor and Course Director for MA History and Systems Thinking (Apprenticeship Route) at Coventry University. I have extensive experience in course development and design as well as over a decade of experience delivering teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. My research focused on the relationship between war and the media. My PhD explored British politics and the press during the Second World War (funded by the Leverhulme Trust). I have published work on the history of the British press and cultural memory. My research project,#RecordCovid19, sought to historicise people’s experiences of the pandemic and was published by DeGruyter. As a deaf academic with management experience in Widening Participation, I am also passionate about ensuring and supporting accessibility and equality in higher education and business.
