Dr. Ortega has 25+ years of extensive local, national, and international experience as a Professional Engineer where he has worked/supervised transportation planning & traffic engineering projects in the context of land development, growth management and long/short range planning. Juan is a registered Professional Engineer in the States of Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Illinois. In addition, he is an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University where he teaches Traffic Engineering, and Transportation Planning & Logistics.
