About Josh Elmore
Research shows that most senior leaders begin new roles without the support required to succeed. Only 30% receive formal onboarding and even they often lack what matters most: insight into internal networks, culture, feedback, and team dynamics.I help leaders bridge that gap.I advise executives stepping into new roles, often with expanded scope or a change mandate, to accelerate their impact by:• Building trust with key stakeholders• Navigating culture• Clarifying strategic priorities• Strengthening team effectiveness• Cultivating continuous feedbackWith a proven framework and deep expertise in leadership transitions, I enable leaders to avoid common missteps, gain clarity faster, and lead with confidence from day one.If you\'re entering a new role or leading through complexity, let\'s connect.Additional areas of impact include:• Executive offsite design and facilitation• Organization change design and strategy execution• Employee engagement and remote team leadership

Organization Development Network Of New York
Jan 2024 — Present · NY, US
Since first attending ODNY events in 2018, I’ve come to deeply value the power of professional community. In 2023, following a period of inactivity, a revitalized board relaunched the organization with renewed energy and purpose. I re-engaged and found a vibrant network of thoughtful, inquisitive OD practitioners. In 2024, I was honored to join the board and contribute to reimagining an organization with a rich history dating back to 1967. Together, we’re building a space for exploration, learning, and connection across the OD field.Through this work, I’ve deepened my experience in board governance, nonprofit leadership, and strategic programming.
