About Jack der Sarkissian
I’m a board-certified family physician with additional certification in obesity medicine. For more than 30 years, I’ve worked on the front lines of primary care while also shaping the next generation of doctors through teaching and mentorship. My clinical work focuses on lifestyle medicine and sustainable weight management. My administrative experience includes building systems that actually support doctors and improve care.I work and live in Los Angeles, primarily in East Hollywood’s Little Armenia, where I stay grounded in community-centered care. My Western Armenian heritage is part of what drives my deep connection to culture, history, and the human side of medicine.Outside the clinic, I’m an artist and musician. I draw, paint digitally, play guitar, and explore the world on foot or by bike.
