Chartered Water and Environmental Manager (MCIWEM C.WEM)| Chartered Scientist (CSci)| Water company, consultancy, research and policy experience.12 years of experience in the water and environmental industry.My motivation for working in the water and environment sector has always been to ensure water supply security for society and environmental protection. As the sector faces unprecedented challenges from population growth and climate change, I believe that we must be innovative to succeed and create new opportunities. I have technical leadership, project management, stakeholder engagement and strategic project development experience across a range of water resources and hydrogeology projects.Key projects I have worked on include: WRMP24 - technical leadership and project management of environmental assessments for WRMP24 options development. Project management of delivering environmental assessments, working closely with the client and sub-contractor. Technical lead for delivery of WFD assessments for individual options, cumulative assessments and in-combination assessments for Plans.Strategic development and design of a £2 million environmental research programme involving several stakeholders, whilst on secondment to the Environment Agency’s National Environment & Business Team Publication of a POSTbrief policy briefing on ‘Water Supply Resilience and Climate Change’ (link in Featured section), an impartial, evidence-based publication that required stakeholder engagement across the water industry Led the technical delivery of the water resources EIA chapter and groundwater assessments for WFD and EIA for a large infrastructure project, as part of a joint venture.
