Recognized by the UN and 30 other governmental bodies, Black Philanthropy Month (BPM) and its Summits are a year-round global celebration, promotion, and movement of Black giving and funding in all its forms culminating every August. Incubated starting 2001, Dr. Copeland officially launched BPM in 2011. Now with the collaboration of many, it has engaged 18 million people and continues to grow.
