ABOUT MOHAMMAD IRFAN BANDAY

With over a decade of dedicated service, Dr. Mohammad Irfan Banday is an accomplished Orthopaedic Surgeon with a solid foundation in both public and private healthcare. He holds an MS in Orthopaedics from Government Medical College, Jammu, and refined his expertise through training at esteemed institutions such as VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital and Medanta Hospitals. Early in his career, he served with the Jammu and Kashmir State Health Services, driven by a commitment to understanding and addressing the challenges of rural healthcare access. Dr. Banday remains closely connected to these roots, regularly offering his expertise to remote communities across locations. He further specialized through fellowships in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy at Himchan Hospital, Seoul, and in shoulder and upper limb reconstruction at Medanta Hospitals. As an active member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association and The Shoulder and Elbow Society of India, Dr. Banday contributes to research focused on advancing surgical outcomes and orthopaedic techniques, with regular publications in prestigious international journals.Dr. Banday’s areas of focus include arthroscopy, shoulder and upper limb reconstruction, sports injuries, and complex joint replacement.
