ABOUT DOUGLAS RICHES

With over 18 years of experience in software development, I am a senior software engineering manager at Google, where I lead a team of engineers to deliver innovative and scalable solutions for various products and platforms. At Google, I have led teams building services on GCP and supporting technical infrastructure. I have a strong background in cross-platform mobile and backend tech stacks, and I have successfully applied my skills and knowledge to create impactful and user-friendly mobile and web applications and features. Before joining Google, I was the CTO at Thrillworks, a digital agency that provides web design and development services to clients across various industries. There, I oversaw the technical strategy, architecture, and innovation of the company, and managed a team of developers, devops, quality assurance, designers, and scrum masters. I also have experience as a VP, Architecture & Innovation at Rangle.io, a Principal Consultant at New Toronto Group, and a Technology Director at Klick Health and Critical Mass. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated my ability to lead, collaborate, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the clients and the users. I am passionate about software development, especially in the web and mobile space and I enjoy learning new technologies and trends in the field.
