About George M. Grunert
I am a Reproductive Endocrinologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of patients with infertility, reproductive and menstrual disorders, recurrent pregnancy loss. I also see patients with other pelvic disorders such as endometriosis, fibroids, heavy menstrual bleeding, and congenital developmental abnormalities. I have specific expertise in reproductive genetics for couples with repeated failure of fertility treatment, recurrent pregnancy loss, and who carry inherited genetic diseases. I offer a full range of diagnostic testing and treatment options including surgery, ovulation induction intrauterine insemination (IUI), in-vitro fertilization (IVF), preimplantation genetic diagnostic testing of embryos (PGD), family balancing, embryo freezing, and oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing). I also work with oncologists and with Livestrong to be able to offer oocyte cryopreservation to cancer patients who want to preserve their fertility prior to beginning chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or surgery.I believe that each patient is a unique individual who deserves compassionate medical care in a nurturing, holistic atmosphere. My staff and I work hard to create a family-like environment and to treat everyone as we would like to be treated ourselves. I feel this is the most conducive way to ease the stressors associated with the treatment of infertility. The most important part of the process is to give everyone hope, encouragement, and support throughout their journey.
