About Gina Messina
Dr. Gina Messina has over 25 years of experience in university teaching, writing, speaking, coaching, and leading initiatives that support equity, belonging, and women\'s advancement. She holds a Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University and is a Certified Leadership Coach with additional certifications in women\'s leadership, emotional intelligence, and positive intelligence.As the Executive Director of the Institute for Women at Ursuline College, Dr. Messina oversees program development and events that promote leadership and career advancement, skill development, and intentional growth for women. She also serves as Associate Professor, teaching interdisciplinary courses from ethics, to marketing, to happiness. Dr. Messina is the author of five books and hundreds of articles on topics related to women and equity. She has spoken at the Commission on the Status of Women at the UN and has been featured in various media outlets, including MSNBC, WaPo, NPR, and TEDx.
