ABOUT GAURAV AGARWAL
I am an academic clinician, interested in leveraging genomics to improve population health. I trained at Oxford Medical School and have practiced as a doctor in the National Health Service (NHS). Supported by the Kennedy Scholarship, I am studying for a Master\'s in Computational Biology at Harvard University. Here, I am conducting my own Graduate level research programme with Professor Vijay Sankaran at the Broad Institute and Harvard Medical School, investigating the genetic basis of inherited blood cancer risk. My research is combining insights from human genetics with genome editing tools in hematopoietic stem cells, to understand the origins of blood cancers and to develop preventative approaches.
